Not having the quite the exposure and attention to detail that many here have, it would be unreasonable for me to make a qualitative judgment in comparison to other shows from this year. But I do hear what you mean about 6/25, even though I feel clumsy trying to describe it, because as I look at what I wrote down when listening, I realize that the same could be said of many shows and other years.

The band is on fire, no matter what may be going on anyone’s health; the band is comfortable and confident in their ability to play together – and having a blast doing so. The energy is quite evident. Jerry is picking his leads with a ferocity of attack in some segments that just blows me away – even when it seems that things are floundering for a moment he keeps coming on strong and rips it up. There is a quality to his playing, along with whatever electronics he is employing, that is almost new to me, having heard relatively little from this year. (Which I will proceed to make up for with all the suggestions from both threads.)

Some side notes: this was the first rock concert held in Autzen Stadium, and the last time the boys would play there until 1987 with Dylan. And who is it (Phil?) that utters the admonishment ‘get it right’ during a chorus of Eyes – struck me as kind of comical, but he sounds dead serious.
